Maternal & Child Health Nurses
MCH nurses are highly qualified early childhood professionals. Initial educational preparation is a general nursing qualification followed by a midwifery qualification. This foundation is the basis for specialised post graduate studies in child family and community nursing. Some MCH nurses have extensive experience in nursing over many years prior to entering MCH nursing.

Parking Management Officers
Parking Management Officers help keep parking spaces available for motorists, and deter drivers from parking where they shouldn’t. They spend a lot of their time providing information and advice to people, and reporting street maintenance needs.

We are an accredited breastfeeding workplace through the Australian Breastfeeding Association. Accreditation makes returning to work a real and practical option for mothers still breastfeeding. We provide separate, private rooms with all the necessary facilities for mothers to hygienically feed and/or store breastmilk.

Municipal Building Project
During 2014, employees from our existing Springvale and Dandenong Municipal offices will move to a brand new municipal building. The new municipal office building to be located in the heart of Dandenong on the corner of Walker and Lonsdale Streets, is set to be completed in mid-2014. The civic space will also provide multi-purpose community spaces and a state-of-the-art library over two levels.
