Continuous Service Improvement

Greater Dandenong is committed to the Victorian Government’s Best Value Victoria program that was introduced in 1999.  Best Value is designed to ensure that, as a council, we actively work to improve services and the quality of life for everyone who works and lives in the city.

 

Every member of staff individually, as part of their unit or as part of an across-organisation team, continually looks for service improvement opportunities. The way we do this is through ongoing reviews and learning.  Over time, this learning will result in improved knowledge and experiences which, in turn will lead to innovative ways of providing better services to our residents, visitors and ratepayers.

 

We believe the quality of the services we deliver sets us apart from most other local government organisations and our innovative continuous improvement program will help us maintain this standard.
