Library Programs and Outreach Support Officer
Band 5, $67,177 - $77,829 pa
Temporary Full-time (35 hours per week) - From March 2018 until March 2021

The Library Service has a vacancy in a key role that facilitates increased community participation in Library Services through supporting the operations of extensive outreach services and Library programs.
The successful applicant will:
- Provide excellent proactive service in a library environment that supports community development and utilises a range of technologies.
- Proactively promote and support the delivery of programs and services.
- Support functions relating to the day to day delivery of services, programs and collections.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience and demonstrate an understanding of community development principles and practices within the provision of Library Services. You will have the ability to work in partnership with families, caregivers and key council and community stakeholders.
You will be a team player and have experience in service delivery to culturally and linguistically diverse communities as well as a self-motivated approach in managing time and work priorities.
Regular weekend and evening shifts are compulsory.
