30.4 hours per week (Tuesday-Friday)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible person to join the Arts and Culture team to cover a temporary vacancy. As Venue Services Officer you will provide support for venue operations across the whole customer service environment at a range of Council's Cultural Venues. As part of the Arts and Culture Team, you will have a passion for the arts and working with a diverse community.
Your role includes operational administration, administering meeting room bookings, assisting the co-ordination of functions, programs, exhibitions and events, liaison with community, clients, contractors and artists and providing support for team members.
You will have relevant post-secondary qualification (Certificate III or IV Hospitality or similar), along with relevant skills and experience in cultural venue operations, functions, and event planning. You will be a team player with proven customer service, time management skills and available to work a wide range of hours to support the venues.
