This position is based at Drum Theatre, a state-of-the-art performing arts theatre within the heritage facade of the former Dandenong Town Hall, situated in the heart of the Dandenong CBD

Drum Theatre is looking for a Venue Services Officer to join our Box Office Team to deliver outstanding customer service in our busy Box Office and reception area.             

This position will:

  • Operate the Box Office in an efficient, customer-focused manner, including answering phone calls, processing over the counter and phone ticket sales.
  • Efficiently and accurately maintain database of clients and patrons in line with privacy requirements.
  • Provide marketing support by maintaining the displays of advertising material in the Box Office and other customer service centres and outlets.
  • Provide Box Office ticketing service for performances as required which may include evening and weekends on a roster basis.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated commitment and ability to work within a team to deliver excellent customer, hospitality and box office services to all clients, attendees and staff involved with theatre functions and events. Experience should include data management and reception in a Box office environment. Please refer to the Position Description for full details.

You may be required to undertake practical testing/psychometric testing.

The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an ‘international criminal history check’), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
