$68,688 - $79,581 pro rata (plus super)

Temporary Part Time 30 hours per week (2 years)

Greater Dandenong City Council has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Archivist to join its Records Management Team.

Reporting to the Records Management Coordinator, you will be assisting with management of the Council’s archived and inactive records, both electronic and hardcopy.  The role will involve liaison across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Manage, appraise, update and audit all records and metadata relating to inactive records stored in secondary storage.
  • Assist in the identification of corporate records in all formats and in all business systems at Council which are scheduled for disposal.
  • Assist in the management of the archive collection in a way that ensures not only compliance with relevant legislation but also in the application of best practice models.
  • Assist in the digitisation of archival records.
